Rhododendron 'Golden Sunset' is an RHS AGM-winner. This attractive deciduous cultivar belongs to the well-known Azalea family. It is an excellent specimen shrub for shady, acid borders and is an excellent choice for cheering up cold, north-facing locations. An abundance of orange buds open in May, revealing primrose yellow flowers with a tinge of orange. It has copper foliage that matures from copper to mid-green to vivid gold in the autumn. Height and spread: 100 cm (39).
